Conclusion of Guidance Units Leaders Qualification Basic Workshop
The Scouts and Guides Department concluded the Basic workshop of Guidance Units Leaders Qualification which lasted for eight days in Al Dakhilyah Governorate. It targeted 44 guides leaders
Under the patronage of Nasser Al Alawi, Sport Affairs Director in Al Dakhilyah Governorate, with the attendance of Nasser Al Khiyari ,Deputy Head of the Guides and Scout Commission, the closing ceremony was held to distribute certificates to the participants.
The workshop aimed to introduce the leaders with concept of guides and scouts movement, its objectives, principles and history internationally and locally. Also the workshop concentrated on the role of the leaders in organizing and managing the units and training the girls approaches, guidance ways and skills through theoretical and practical sessions.
In addition, the workshop illustrated a number of concepts including the leadership Qualification System , how to prepare the units meetings program, camping basic skills and f leaders’ roles in applying the objectives of guides and scouts movement.
