The 1st International Forum on Teaching Science and Math launched
Under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid Bin Omar Al-Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, The 1st International Forum on Teaching Science and Math was launched at Sur University College. The two-day forum, held under the theme “Towards Better Learning of Science and Math,” was organised by the Directorate-General of Education in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. It attracted more than 400 participants, especially teachers and supervisors of mathematics and science.
The symposium was attended by HE, Saud bin Salim Al-Balushi Undersecretary for Planning and Development of Human Resources , and the deputy governors of Willayats.
The forum was sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Oman LNG, Oman India Fertiliser and Sur University College, the Golden Line and Laqta for Photography, with the participation of speakers from the Sultanate, USA, Taiwan, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
