Training and Vocational Development Center in Dhofar Implement Good Career Planning and its Impact on Making Decision Program
Training and Vocational Development Center in Dhofar concluded the preplanned program for Vocational Guidance Section which targeted vocational guidance specialists for grades (10-12) in 3 June 2014.
The program aimed to achieve a number of educational aims that are in relation with student’s decision in choosing a career, introduce the specialist to the steps and process of taking decisions and implement one of psychological standards in self-discovery.
The program also aimed to guide specialist into the importance of taking decision by student to achieve future aims and to view the affecting factors in choosing career and making decision.
On the importance of this program, Khyar Kashob, Vocational Guidance Specialist in23 July Basic Education School (5-10), mentioned that the program gave her opportunity to view the process of implementing planning process, self-discovery and view number of theories such as John Holand theory and Gardner theory.
