Children First Association in cooperation with MOE awarded winners of the first edition of Al Amana campaign contest, which was conducted during academic year 2013/2014. The ceremony was held under auspices of HH Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad al Said in presence of HE Dr Madeeha Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of MOE and a number of their highnesses and honorable guests and officials in Grand Hayyat Muscat.
Dr Muna bint Fahd al Said, Chairwoman of the Association, delivered a speech during which she emphasized on the importance of such campaigns as they enforce right ethical and behavioral attitudes in children so they can bear the responsibilities and obligation by the time they grow up.
During the ceremony, the website of the Association was launched. There was also a presentation on the Association’s upcoming programs and activities. At the end, the patron honored the winning students, schools, members of different committees and sponsors. It is worth mentioning that 265 first cycle students (1-4) from 26 schools in Muscat governorate participated in the competition. The participated projects submitted in literature field amounted 116, 131 in art field, 10 in technical and 8 school projects. After evaluation process by 5 juries, 19 winners were elected.
