The number of students appearing for General Education Diploma Exams in al Dakhiliyah stood at 7378 spread over 46 centers. The General Directorate of Education in Al Dakhiliyah prepared the centers to receive students on Tuesday. The centers spread over eight wilayats where 9 centers in Nizwa, 6 in Izki, 4 in Adam, 2 in Hamra, 2 in Manah, 10 in Bahla, 10 in Samail and 3 in Bidbid.  

In this context, a coordinating educational meeting of exams administration local committee  in the governorate was held with centers principals and chaired by Dr Said Al Amri, General Director of Dakhiliyah Directorate and head of local committee.

 The director mentioned in his speech the important points that should be followed during exams such as instructions mentioned in the ministerial decree related to organizational aspects, regulations and laws related to conduct examination process. Also, he mentioned the directorate achievements  by obtaining the first position in General Education Diploma results frequently for three years.

The meeting included worksheet presented by Saleh Al Yahyai, principal of Sheikh Ibn Barka Al Sulimi Center, where he talked about General Education Diploma management control, clarify the role of observers and system and observation committee members. Also, he emphasized on not to enter mobile phones in examination halls.

At the end, Said Al Busaidi, examination technician member, presented a presentation where he explained through it working process of General Education Diploma Exams Electronic Program, process of distribution students in halls and observers according to subjects being examined in halls and submit financial program statement with emphasis on attach with it a copy certified by center’s principal.
