Al Sharqiah North Celebrates International Labor Day
The General Directorate of Education in Al Sharqiah North celebrated the International Labor Day yesterday which marks May the 1st every year .The celebration took place at the Directorate’s Building and under the patronage of Dr.Ali Al Amri , Human Resources Development Department Director in presence of sections heads ,respected workers and others .
The ceremony started with the holy Quran read by one of the workers and then the patron delivered a speech where he expressed his happiness to celebrate this day which appreciated the efforts of workers and their roles in the community .Also , Azeeza Al Sawafi , Deputy Director of Educational Programs mentioned that the directorate honored 36 outstanding Omani and foreign workers for their dedications in their work .At the end , the patron gave the workers a number of awards .
