The Directorate General of Information Technology in MOE , implemented a workshop on Social networking and incorporating mobile applications such as Instagram ,and the guiding principles for use in education .The opening day was presided over by his Excellency Saud Al Buloshi ,MOE Undersecretary for Education Planning and Human Resources Development. The workshop targeted the Ministry’s Media Specialists from the regional directories and employees working at the cabinet .  

H.E. The undersecretary delivered a word on the new media development and its role in communication between the MOE as an establishment and its customers and its main role in updating the community of the ministry news and recent developments in education.

Then Mr Suliman Al Kindi ,DG of the IT delivered a paper on the reporting principles of new Media and Social networking and loyalty to the establishment .

Then the key speaker of the event , Mrs Manal Ahmed Qaid ,Media Specialist from Kingdom of Bahrain conducted a paper on Media – Incorporating and Controlling Social Networks ,how to exploit the tools and reaching efficiency and achieving professionalism in running channels of communication, information flow ,organizing data exchange among customers and finally developing strategy frameworks for social networks.
