Vocational Guidance Forum “Hopeful Future with Ascending Innovation †in Tabouk School
Tabouk Basic Education School in Northern Batina implemented First Vocational Guidance Forum activities in Majan Hall in Sohar , under patronage of Sheikh Dr Saif Al Sinani, deputy of Wali Liwa in presence of Hamad Al Sirhani, General Director of General Directorate of Education in Northern Batina and number of educators, vocational guidance specialists from other educational provinces, parents and students.
The forum aims to develop vocational guidance specialist knowledge and experience, to follow up educational updates in vocational guidance, develop specialists’ competencies into innovate experiences and exchange opinions and suggestions to develop specialists work.
The forum activities started with a recitation from the Holy Quran, then Aysha Al Hadrami the school principal talked about vocational guidance in the Sultanate. Northern Batina and Dakhlyiah students present an operetta of professions . Also, there was interview with Amani Al Bulushi an employee from Omantel where she presented her career. The forum included number of working sheets such as lecture entitled “the other road” presented by Haitham Al Bulushi, Vocational Guidance Specialist in Southern Batina, robot awareness presentation by Hilal Al Syiabi, play entitled “my resignation” presented by Hafs bin Rashed School in Muscat. At the end the participants and organizers were honored.
