Guidance Commission Forum of Global Education Work Team in Muscat
The MOE and the UNESCO is holding the meeting of the guidance committee of global work team for teachers in AL Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat on Sunday morning. The meeting coincides with the Global Education Meeting that Sultanate hosted and secluded in the period ( 12-14) of the current month where a number of countries participate in this gathering such as Oman, India , UAE, Egypt , Germany ,Norway , Nepal , Togo , Indonesia , Namibia and Jamaica .
His Highness Sayyed Asad bin Tariq , will preside over the opening ceremony of Global Education Meeting next Wednesday in presence of a number of HEs Ministers , MOE Secretaries , Education Commission in AL Shura and State Council and other dignitaries .
The meeting program starts with a welcoming speech of HE, Dr, Humood AL Harthi ,MOE Undersecretary for Education and Curriculum , then the gathering will review and approve the schedules of Guidance Commission Forum. Then the sponsor will delivers a speech and reviews meeting report from the previous meeting in Kinshasa in 2013 and discusses procedures which were postponed to later meetings.
In addition , it includes a number of modified suggestions to be written at the authorized texts and then 2014 work plan will be reviewed and approved by General Secretary Chief. Later, at the end the meeting will select settings and premises for the next meeting .
