A Lecture about Food and Water Safety for School Canteens Supervisors in Al Burimi Directorate
Food safety week continues in Al Burimi Directorate which organized by General Directorate of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources represented by Awareness and Public Relations Department, Health Control and Sanitation Department and Awareness Section in governorate’s municipalities. Yesterday morning an awareness lecture was held for teachers in charge of schools canteens presented by Abdul Hakeem Al Farsi, Lab Technician in the Directorate, entitled Food and water Safety in Schools. He focused on basic tasks and hygiene requirements that teachers in charge of canteens should follow. Also, he mentioned that school committees role in following up food stuff provided for students and the hygiene of water tanks .
