With the aim of awareness of combat cybercrime law and enhancing the role of society to reduce the negative use of technology and to identify the systems and methods that are dealing with this phenomena; the Middle East Center for Consulting and Social Studies implemented an awareness campaign for IT risk, in cooperation with ITA, MOE, and SQU. The event, held at the Educational Training Center in Daqum in presence of a number of teachers and students from the willayats schools.

On the campaign, Ali bin Sohail Tabuk, CEO of Middle East Center for Consulting and Social Studies; clarified of the importance of educating the society of how to deal with Modern Technics of Information and Communication Technology, and what the resulting challenges and risks. The idea of implementing this campaign that starts in Dhofar with 3 axes between Legal side, Technical, and religious. In addition, the campaign main purpose is awareness the students of bad using of IT tools like Mobile, Computers, and Network. The next level will target parents and activate all the society institutions roles whether government or civil..
