Oman and Singapore Sign (MoE) for Cooperation in Education
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint cooperation in the area of education was signed yesterday between the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate and the Ministry of Education of the Republic Of Singapore.
HE Dr, Madeeha received in her office Masagos Zu-al Kifl , Singapore Senior Minister of States For Home Affairs and Foreign and Affairs .The Ministry of Education hopes that through this MoU to cooperate in the future with the National Institute of Education in Singapore for teachers training , as well as exchange of expertise .
Dr Madiha Al Shibaniyah, Minister of Education said, "Signing the memorandum on cooperation between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Singapore is in the field of education, specifically in the areas of teacher training, educational evaluation and exchange of visits as we all know that Singapore has an educational system which is considered to be one of the best performing education systems in the world”
." For his part, Masagos Zu-al Kifl , Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs said, “the Sultanate and the Republic of Singapore share a strong friendship and this means that there will be a lot of exchange of visits between the two Ministers from both countries for many years to come, as the President of the Republic of Singapore, visited Oman in recent years thanks to the friendship that is offered to us by the Sultanate of Oman and that friendship led to substantial cooperation between the Sultanate and the Republic of Singapore in many different areas."
