The Schools are set ready for OmanTel Schools Competition
MOE represented by the Educational Activities Department, the General Directorate of Educational Programs is ready for OmanTel Schools Olympic Days . The Olympic days will be held in the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bowsher town from 17 to 22 April with participation of 348 males, 180 females and 165 trainers and supervisors of eleven educational directorates in addition to the General Directorate of Private Schools.
The competition will include six different games. This competition supports the role of private sector in supporting the society and educational progress through sport activity. The competition aimed to disseminate sport awareness, develop social skills of students and take care of outstanding students in different sport competitions, view teachers’ skills and establish athletic integrated system.
Most of the directorates have ended their preparations through school athletic committee in different directorate by organizing finals between schools to choose outstanding students that will represent the directorate in each game.
