MOE Delegates Number of School Principals to the United Kingdom

Number of schools’ principals visited UK in order to view British schools’ principals experiences in different fields of school work, exchange experience, enhance educational vocational communication between educational administrations and to view the role of school’s administration.

The participants viewed the educational system in UK including primary and secondary educational system and the schools’ administration in each educational system. The Omani principals spent three academic days with school principals in order to gain experience in direct involvement strategy.

 The participants benefited from this visit that they have seen details of daily schools works in UK such as school administration plans, self-evaluation process of school’s performance, how principals follow up learning and education, student’s works and how to measure students’ progress in each period. They viewed the technique adopted by school’s principal and administration team which cooperate with parents and local society in all cases concerning their kids. Also, they were introduced to granted powers to schools’ principals, their  influence on development schools performance and major challenges they face in field.
