• 80,31% successfully passed for the General Diploma exam of (42735)students
• The results will be available starting from 9.00 p.m. on Thursday through (SMS) 
• Observed (310) case of violation of the exam public system and the necessary retributions are taken.
• The students took up the exam in (372) center this year and the correction process done in 4 centers.
• 2 weeks will be available to apply for exams papers re-correction through Oman e-Portal.  
  
  

Today, Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed al- Shaibaniya, Minister of Education; accredited the General Education Diploma for the first term of the school year 2013/2014. 

  42735 students took up the general education diploma exam which 80.31% passed successfully and 643 students from private bilingual schools took up the general education diploma which 91.11% passed successfully. Also, 36 students took up the exam of the general education diploma for the Royal Guard of Oman Technical College (bilingual) and all of them passed the exam successfully, and 125 students took up the exams for the general education and Islamic sciences diploma and all of them passed successfully. As well, this was the case with 20 students who took up the exams for the general education diploma for special education.

However, there was 310 cases of violation of the exam public system from students (regulars and adults students), as well as, 7 cases from the centers employee. Also, in order to achieve the principle of transparency, the student and guardian can see the answer the student's books and re-patched through submitting a request through the educational portal website, then pull the form specified and review the Directorate General for Education to maintain its advances to do other administrative procedures. Students are allowed to submit requests  and start the administrative procedures in the period 16-27/3/2014 , for two weeks.

NB. The results will be available on Thursday starting from 9.00 p.m. through the Omantel and Nawras SMS service. Student needs to send their seat number to 90200 and they will get the results. The results will be later published on Oman e-Portal.
