Dhofar Schools reaps the 1st and 2nd place accolades in National Apprentices Readers
The girls of Al Raya Basic Education School in Dhofar reaped the first place award for apprentices’ readers contest organized by the Youth National Commission as part of the activities in Muscat Book Fair 2014; The cross country competition based on introducing a text that followed by some comprehension questions on screen .
The contest organized by Youth National Commission aims to achieve the goals of promoting the love of reading habits and increase its time and add varieties to its fields; and to encourage the young to serve the community in useful and productive ways. It’s worth to mention that, the second place award was won also by Timor bin Faisal School from Dhofar after neck and neck competition with a school from Al-Wosta region.
