Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al-Shibaniah, Minister of Education visited recently the Teachers’ Professional Training Centre to supervise work progress in the center. During the visit she met the Omani working staff and reviewed work progress and development of the first phase of the center’s plan. The center’s management reviewed the executed plans and training programs being implemented and introduced various aspects of training and challenges faced and recommendations in order to facilitate its programs.

 In the start, Her Excellency was briefed on a number of different topics such as: the role of the Centre in assisting training programs, professional development programs, and various types of training being adopted by the Centre, the assessment and evaluation policy in the Centre in addition to a briefing on aspects of   the accumulative role played by the Centre to enhance the programs organized by the Teachers Training Centers of the Directorate General of Human Resources.

 Note that the Centre is located in a temporary building that equipped with all required facilities that comprises more than 56 well equipped rooms ,a library ,computer lab, assimilated teaching classes ,science laboratory ,multi-function meeting hall and restaurants .
