Conclusion of Training Workshop for Third Math Olympiad
Within operational plan to prepare Omani students who will present the Sultanate in the third math Olympiad scheduled in Muscat during the period 6-9 April 2014, MOE implemented recently a final filtering test in Safeer Continental in Alkhuwair. The test was in the end of the training workshop which lasted for five days morning and evening. In the morning period Dr Abdulazaiz bin Abdullah bin Abaid, delegate of Arabic Education office for Gulf countries. He talked about world Olympics theories in algebra, engineering and numbers. In the evening, a number of national trainers lecture in the workshop. 22 students from seven directorates participated and some of them was qualified from the first filtering test which implemented in all Sultanate governorates for students of grade ten and elven which qualified for the final filtering test. It is worth mentioning that number of supervisors and teachers participated in order to build national cadre who will be able to train students in future Olympiad.
