Ministry of Education, represented by South Batinah Governorate Directorate celebrated on Monday 12th of December 2011, to hand over His Majesty’s Sultan Qaboos bin Said cup for Clean and Healthy School Environment Competition for the academic year 2010 / 2011.

The celebration was organized  at Rustaq Hall at College of Applied Science in  Rustaq under the auspices of  Minister of Housing, HE Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi and in presence of Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniya,Minister of Education, HE Sheikh the governor of South Batinah, a number of undersecretaries, Excellencies,  governors of the governorate, honored members of the Board State and Excellencies members of the Al Shura Council, some military leaders  and a number of officials from various governorates of the Sultanate.

HE Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Tobi, an adviser in the Ministry of Education gave a speech. He said that this competition represents a clear call to maintain school environment, which is an integral part of our environment.

HE Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Shabibi delivered His Majesty’s cup to the winning   governorates and schools for the academic year 2010 / 2011. South Batinah won the first prize of the competition in the Sultanate, and Al Dhahira Governorate won the second. Al Dakhilya Governorate got the third place and thus deserved the shield of the ministry. North Batinah Governorate and North Sharqiya Governorate were the fourth and the fifth in the competition consecutively.
