Ministry of Education launches “Children Read†project
Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed A-Shibania, Minister of Education Sponsored the inauguration of (Children Read) project at City Seasons Hotel in presence of a number of the (HSBC) employees and the British Council, school administrators, teachers and students of schools which applies the project.
The project aims to assist students in developing reading skills and habits in English and encourage them to read granularity through the implementation of various co-curricular activities and competitions, as well by motivating students to participate in various events that are implemented at the local level.
The Council will oversee the training of teachers involved in the project where they will be trained for different ways of storytelling and reading strategies. "
