HE Dr Hamood Al Harthi lunched the Educated Village Project in Willayat Bushar

HE Dr Hamood bin Khalfan Al Harthi, Undersecretary of Education for Education and curricula, lunched yesterday the Educated Village Project ceremony of willayat Bushar at Ministry of Education auditorium in Alwattayah.

The project launching implemented by Educational programs in General Directorate of Education in Muscat Directorate was held in presence of HE Sheikh Ibrahim bin Yahya Al Rawahi, Walli of Bushar and Chairman of Educated Village Project Committee in Bushar, Ali bin Hameed Al Jahori, General Director of General Directorate of Education in Muscat Governorate and deputy of committee chairman and sheikhs.

 This project targets more than hundred and thirty learners in villages and cities of wilayat Bushar. This project will continue for three years in order to encourage them to seek knowledge, get rid of illiteracy, and endow them with knowledge and skills in Arabic, Math and other life skills.

 The party included welcoming tableaus presented by schools students after that HE Sheikh Walli of Bushar, delivered a speech where he talked about literacy in Oman and the government role to get rid of it.

Khalsa Albatashi gave a speech on behalf of National Diploma graduates who teaches literacy classes followed by presentation showed various stages and renewable successes of the project. The party also included short theatrical show entitled the best language about importance of learning Arabic Language. At the end of the party the patron of event honored the participants in the project in Bushar for the current academic year.
