Activities of the training program “Effective Administrative Leadership” concluded recently in Nizwa Golden Tulip which was organized by General Directorate of Education in Dakhiliyah Governorate as part of it plan to rehabilitate administrative stuff.

Twenty eight of school principals, their assistants and educational supervisors participated in this program and lectured by an international Iraqi Lecturer Dr Rakan Abdul-Aziz Al Rawi, development human resources specialist and authorized trainer from British Academy of Human Resources Development.

The training program aimed to enable trainees to achieve scientific knowledge and applied skill in topics of administrative leadership and creative thinking such as ability, motivation and engendering at work, job satisfaction, decisions making, solve problems and leading work teams. The program included five axes; the first axis talked about administrative leadership in terms of outstanding leadership made outstanding institution. The second axis was about creative thinking. The lecturer mentioned that the ability to creativity is the basis of successful leadership; introduce the participants with definition, the importance, stages and requirements of creative thinking. He discussed thirty principals of development creative abilities.

The third axis was about job motivation and engendering workers, organizational loyalty and corporate excellence requirements. The forth axis talked about decisions making and solving problems. He introduced participants with decision making definition, decision types and stages, concept of administrative character and economic character in making decisions. The fifth axis discussed working team concept, its importance, distinguishing between groups and working teams, working teams pros and cons , principals of building teams, roles of working team members and how to improve team productivity.
