“Teenagers Healthcareâ€: a workshop in MOE
The training workshop on teenagers’ healthcare program organized by the Awareness and Edification Department, Ministry Of Education was concluded yesterday. The workshop propelled to serve the professional development of concerned cadre such as hygiene and health specialist at schools, social workers and health section members at schools.
The workshop program aimed at promoting the participants knowledge about teenagers healthcare guidelines, and consolidate the implications of teenager’s characteristics such as puberty psychology and physiology and social needs.
The workshop comprised a number of activities on various important topics such as nutrition, hygiene and safety; attracted many speakers from the concerned departments at MOE such as Healthcare Awareness Department and also Schools Health Department and from other concerned governmental institution such as the Ministry of Health, and Oman Royal Police, the Road Safety Directory.
