Discussion on Scientific Programs and Competitions in Muscat Directorate
The Educational Programs Department in the Directorate General of Education in Muscat represented by Scientific Activities Section and Coordinators of Knowledge Development Program organized a joint meeting for scientific club supervisors and coordinators of knowledge development program for grades (5-12) in Dohat Aladab Basic Education theatre.
The meeting discussed the forthcoming scientific programs and competitions; Ahmed bin Issa Al Hmemai, Chemistry Supervisor and Member of Knowledge Development Program, presented a worksheet on students’ projects, evaluation techniques and implementation dates. Also, Jihad bin Saif Al Hadrami, Cultural Activity Specialist and Scientific Clubs Supervisor, spoke about scientific clubs competitions, international scheduled competitions such as Azerbaijan Competition, Smart Schools Competition by Ericsson Company. Leela bint Abdullah Al Sanani, member of Knowledge Development Program, presented a paper on Omani Innovations “Discovery and Achievement” to be held in next January in Oman International Exhibition Center and she encouraged schools to partake in event.
