500 Brownies and Scouts participating in the Camps at Al-batinah South Commission
The scouting association in Al-batinah South Directorate organized a one day camp for brownies and scouts with a participation of 500 scouts and brownies of the province for three days at Al-rustaq Park and Shati Al-sawadi park.
The camps targeted to fortify loyalty and belonging to the Greatest scout through launching the slogan of the camps is a day of patriotism and implanting the love for Oman .
Rabea Al-kanbashi ,the executive commissioner of guidelines and scout commission at Al-batnah south said that the camps programs started with teaching the participants flag-raising and lowering ceremony and train them at the first aids .They were identified about the fire types and the uses of the ropes knots using the scout way .In addition , there were some sport and entertaining competitions and environmental workshops such as planting seeds , protecting the trees organized at Al-Sawadi beach cleanup campaign.
