Introductory Workshop of child- friendly schools initiative events started in Directorate of Mosandam

Central team of Child-friendly schools initiative in the Sultanate implemented introductory workshop in Musandam Directorate involved a number of schools including Amina bint wahab Basic Education school 5-12, Abu Baker Alsadeq 5-10 and Qada Basic Education School 4-1.

 The workshop included presentation on child-friendly school initiative goals, stages and national standards of the initiative as well as clarifying the terms of Child Rights Convention. During the workshop they clarified child rights convention and the Sultanate implementation of Child-friendly schools initiative, review stages and goals represented in transfer schools and educational systems  gradually towards quality standards.

The child- friendly schools initiative aimed to enhance child participation, find a space for them to express their opinions and views and help child to follow rules. The introductory workshop of child- friendly schools initiative included Dr Salim Alkhali, Training Specialist in Directorate General of Human Resources Development, Najih Alkabi, Kindergarten Supervisor in Directorate General of Private Schools, Rahma Almahrazi, Expert Administrative in Office of General Director of Educational programs , and Aziz Alrhbi, Administrative Supervisor in School Performance Development Department. It is worth mentioning that the workshop will continue for three days. The workshop targeted students, teachers, school administrators and parents.
