The Educational delegation from Directorate General of Information Technology participated in Berlin 19th International Conference on technology which was opened yesterday evening in Berlin until the sixth of December 2013. MOE participated by special corner which they displayed the latest developments in application of technology in schools of the Sultanate as well as various initiatives of directorates and different international companies.
The aim of this participation is to highlight the role of the ministry in the community in terms of introducing technology in the educational and administrative process and effectiveness of electronic communication through the use of Educational Portal and various computerized systems in the ministry.
The conference contained more than 90 corners for different countries and companies from more than 100 countries of more than 2000 participants from various friendly countries.
The ministry's aim from this participation was to view the latest developments and changes of technology being deployed in educational process and to view the latest software adopted by various countries including European and Arab in e-learning applications, various educational portal, training programs and services provided by countries for various targeted in education field.
The Sultanate corner also included introduction about tourism in the Sultanate and e-government services. In the conference there were workshops and worksheets for experts of technology from various countries where they presents best research and practices used in network learning. The conference focused on education subject and information and communication technology role in education and training and how to transform curriculums to interactive technology curriculum.
