Muscat Directorate implemented 35 training programs targeted more than 1000 teachers
The General Directorate of Education in Muscat Governorate represented by the Educational Training Center in Human Recourses Development Department implemented since the beginning of the current academic year 2013/2014 until end of November 35 training programs. The programs targeted (1040) teachers in order to raise their efficiency, develop their skills, provide them with modern teaching skills and deploy new technologies to serve the educational process.
Among the programs that they have implemented were development and management of digital information sources programs, blogs and wiki programs, thinking development programs and practical applications of collective games programs. Also they implemented programs in using new technologies in learning such as smart boards program and Intel program.
The implementation of these programs aimed to raise teachers professional skills, develop their performance methods within the development plan and increase their production capacity to follow up rapid educational innovations.
