An Art Exhibition on the occasion of the National Day 43rd in Directorate of South Albatina
Sheikh Harith bin Saif bin Abdullah Aldgeshi,Wali Nakhal, opened an art exhibition on the occasion of national day 43rd which organized by Nakhal Basic Education School in Nakhal; in the presence of Khamis bin Abdullah Alabri, Director General Assistant of South Albatina Directorate, HE Salim bin Abdullah Albriki, member of Shura Council and other dignitaries and citizens.
The exhibition contained a number of paintings that reflects love of motherland patriotism. The occasion patron honored the winning paintings in the competition and the organizers.
Siham bint Khamis Alhkmani, Director of Nakhal Girls School, mentioned that the school participated in the National Day by organizing an art competition entitled "with love I draw the beauty of Oman in the past and present with colors". The paintings symbolize their love and appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The art teachers in the school talked about the exhibition and its goal. The exhibition aimed to enhance the relationship between the school and society, emerge talents from outside community from all social categories, both male and female. They mentioned that the first five winners received cash prizes to encourage them for more creation.
Both Naila bint Abdullah Alrawahi, the forth winner and Noof bint Hamood Alhadrmi, the second winner, mentioned that they tried to combine between Oman in the past and present in their paintings .
