The activities of the third session of the training program (Intel Teach Program) were concluded at North Batinah Directorate. It was aimed at 25 members of e-Learning division - Department of Educational Technology in Department of Information Technology. The program was carried out in the period from 3/12/2011 to 7/12/ 201.
The program aims to train teachers on a set of fundamentals which help them to adopt learning methods based on students and use the technology effectively in the classroom. It also aims to identify ways in which the students and teachers can employ technology in the classroom, the safe use of information in addition to familiarize them with the most important characteristics to search through the network. It also trained them to include electronic communication tools (web2) in teaching.
Ihab AbdelRidha Al Anani director of Intel's education in Egypt presented in five days, a variety of topics about learning process through projects or so-called (Project based learning).
The Ministry of Education signed an agreement with Intel, which include doing the training program (Intel Teach Program) to 45 thousand teachers of different disciplines from schools in the Sultanate over five years.
