Challenges of Child Online Protection
ITA represented by Oman National CERT continued the second workshop entitled Capacity Building and Skills Development in Child Online Protection Programme. This workshop aims to increase people's awareness in the Sultanate about child online protection and find solutions to empowering women role in family positive development.
The workshop focused on National Project in Child Online Protection, security risks that face children and how to report about security accidents if existed. The workshop included other worksheets in Child Rights, Social Networks, Parental Control Programme and smart gadgets
The workshop activities were concluded on Thursday by worksheet about socialization in light of technical development, negative effects and its consequences on the child and the family. It is worth mentioning that ITA represented by Oman National CERT concerned about broadcasts security awareness in the society and implemented best standards in Information security in the Sultanate. The ITA adopted Global Cyber security Agenda and activate it from legal foundation, technical and procedural to build capability and international cooperation in this field.
