raining programme for English teachers in Batinah North

English Language unit in Human Recourse Development Department implemented a training course to develop teaching methods of handwriting for English language teachers of grade 1 to 4.

This programme targeted 30 teachers of cycle one schools in Batinah North Governorate for three days during period from 27/10/2013 to 29/10/2013 at the education training center in Sohar.

 During the programme a range of work papers were provided such as importance of handwriting, importance of developing students' handwriting skills, ways of solving problems that will face students while learning handwriting skills and methods of teaching handwriting for students in interesting and encouraging ways by using games and new technology.

 This programme was implemented by two educational supervisors, Safia bint Abdullah Al Balushi and Khwalla bint Ibrahim Al Balushi. They used several teaching methods such as presentation, video and divided groups. The programme were implemented to raise teachers' efficiency in handwriting, to solve students' problems in handwriting and to develop students' handwriting skills in English language subject.
