Schools in Al-Wosta run Marathon Challenge 2013 in Al-Duqm
The Omani Association for Athletics in cooperation with the Directory of Education in Al-Wosta Governorate organized Marathon race for school pupils. The events sponsored by Oman Dry-dock Company in Al-Duqm .The competitions was held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohsin Al-Maskry ,Wali of Duqum .
The race was set into two categories: the 5km for general class and 3Km half marathon for novices. The closing events was held at Duqm Crown Plaza Hotel ,where the patron of the event gave out the awards to the race winners and Thank-you awards to Education Directory in al Wosta , Oman Dry-Dock company in Duqm ,Oman Royal Police , Athletics Association in the region and Crown Plaza Hotel for their dedicated support.
