The Ninth Training Course’s Activities are Begun
The intensive ninth training course’s activities to prepare and qualify new teachers to work in special education schools are begun and will continue up to the coming 17th October, focusing on the audio side in Al-Amal School for Deaf and mental side at main Training Centre. This course aims qualify Omani staffs to teach disabled students and to gain experience, knowledge and basic skills needed to deal with disabled students. Moreover, many worksheets related to the Special Education are presented in this course as techniques, teaching strategies with disabilities and individual educational plan. Furthermore, it includes practical training in sign language presented by the expert Khalid Al-Aamri, which lasts for two weeks addressing bi-language, multi-cultural and classroom practical application.
