Symposium Recommendations: Closing the Gab between schools and labor market dynamic needs

The three days symposium organized by the Ministry of education came to end today. The Education Competences for 21st Century symposium was held under patronage of Dr. Humoud bin Khalfan Al-Harthy at Bur al Jessah Sangre La Hotels came out with a set of recommendation in regard the education programs planning.

The closing word by Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Hinai, Advisor to the Minister of Education for Education International Affairs and Chairman of the symposium’s committees emphasized on the implications of change of international labor market on education programs and the need for divergent education system that can provide consistency and the need to plan the schooling experiences to include all kind of experiences inside and outside schools.

The symposium came out with a number of advices and recommendations in regard to educational policies programs planning and stressed on formulation of national framework for education competencies in accord to state’s actual needs and the upcoming growth in labor market and to work on establishing ground for a comprehensive strategy and to manifest its interconnectivity with corporates in the market for better support and implementation in different phases and to close the jab between schools outputs and the dynamic markets.
