The Ministry of Education keen to ensure the right to education for all, a commitment from the Ministry to achieve the objectives of Education for all, believing in the importance of educated citizen thus, keeping up growth and modernization development to improve the education in the light of accelerating regional and global variables.

The General Directorate of Education in North Al-Batinah Governorate started the registration in adults education classes (Regular and Irregular study), considering from Monday 2/9/2013 until 30/9/2013; and to begin the classes on Tuesday 1/10/2013 at Literacy classes .

The Educational Programs Department sought through continuing education section to create Literacy and Adults Education centers with the beginning of study year, the study centers reach to 15 centers this year distributed to all regions. Furthermore, providing human powers from teachers and supervisors and specialists in adults teaching, in addition; providing an integrated educational environment that suite the needs of these students.

NB. To register in these centers, please approach directly to the nearest center to complete the registration process. On the other hand, those who transfer to the 2nd and 3rd class in literacy may approach to their centers as usual and those who want to complete the study in 7th grade until 11th shall approach to nearest center to complete the registration. Finally, the students who want to register in 12th grade shall register via Oman Educational Portal.
