Ministry of Education received an official invitation to participate at school holiday camp for talented students at talented center in Malaysia. The ministry is represented in this camp by the Directorate General for educational programs. The camp is organized by the National University of Malaysia, (UKM).
The activities of the camp began on 21/11 and will last until 13/12/2011. The gifted and savvy students will participate in many events, programs and activities divided between the Centre, National University of Malaysia, and many educational and recreational places such as educational museums, historical and scientific centers in all parts of Malaysia.
The camp organizes specialized courses in more than 16 literary and scientific disciplines, including the field of robotics, physics, mathematics, biology, programs of thinking and innovation in science and computer science and other sciences. The participants specialize according to their interests. Students who are accepted to participate in this camp must pass tests of intelligence, UKM Test 2, because the study at the Centre is in English language.
Two students from the Ministry, Ahmed bin Ibrahim bin Saeed Al Hosni from Asim bin Omar School at Muscat Governorate, and Abdul Aziz bin Ali bin Saeed Al Alwi from Bahla school at Al Dhakhilya Governorate. The two are gifted in science and mathematics. It should be noted that the talented center will participate in the Big Show which will be opened by Malaysian Prime Minister Mohamed Najib Abdul Razak on Saturday, 10/12/2011.
