Oman National Committee for Education, Culture and Science organizes the role of Omani women in science and development forum
Ministry of Education, represented by Oman National Committee of Education, Culture and Science, in cooperation with Omani Women's Association in Muscat organized on Monday morning a forum about the role of Omani women in science and development.
The forum was under the auspices of His Excellency Ali Bin Khalfan Al Jabri, Undersecretary of Ministry of Information, in presence of a number of working women in the field of science and a number of students from the general diploma and second cycle schools.
This forum aims to highlight the role of Omani women to transfer knowledge and proficiency in the fields of science and benefit from the expertise and successful experiences. It also aims to support young talents and enhance their capacity to make their way with confidence and stability toward mastery and innovation in life, especially in scientific fields and also to give a living model to diploma students.
Organization of this event was within the framework of the celebration of World Science Day for Peace and Development, which was established by United Nations for Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) in 2001. It is celebrated in the tenth of November of each year.
