The President of ALECSO visit the Sultanate.
His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said, the Minister of Heritage received yesterday His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Hamed bin Harib the president of Arab League Educational, cultural and scientific organization ( ALECSCO).In the meeting the two sides discussed the general cooperation interests and the means of joint work in preserving the Arabs National heritage programs. His Excellency expressed his hope in finding the Sultanates support to empower Arabic culture and attract necessary support to achieve the organization goals in the region.
In addition, Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed Al-Shibaniah, the Minister of Education, the president of Oman National commission for Education, culture and science received Dr.Abdullah the president of ALESCO in her office in the ministry. The meeting discussed mutual cooperation issues and means of enhancing joint work field in the fields of education, culture and science in order to connect Arab culture to other civilizations around the world.
