Ministry of Education seeks to qualify a team that can manage e-learning and build e-content in collaboration with Educational Directorates through training teachers the skills of using modern technology in curriculum. 

Haima Basic Education School held a training program “Omani Imagine” . it was carried out by the trainer Firas Abdul Rahman Qteishat from the National Training Institute in coordination with Microsoft Company. The program was under the supervision of Information Technology Department at Al Wasta Governorate and Educational Technology Department at the Ministry.  Dr. Solomon Al Saqri, an expert in educational technology at the Ministry and Issa Al Anqodi, deputy director of Educational Technology Department   at the Ministry.
At the opening of the training program Salem bin Nasser Al – Mahrouqi said that employing technological innovations in the fields of information technology and educational technology has become a necessity in educational systems to achieve the goals they seek. The focus is on providing learners a range of skills required such as learning skills, skills to deal with technological innovations, self-management skills, and the importance of using modern technology in classroom situation.
