In accord with the exerted efforts of Oman Education Portal awareness campaign to enhance its role in Oman e-Government, the Portal of the Ministry of Education continued its successful participation in 'Muscat Festival 2013' -contained by e-Oman showcasing section.
The Portal's participation policy aims to connect with affiliated educational audience such as pupils, teachers, schools administrations personals and parents. The show included comprehensive illustrations and demonstrations of the services provided online such as transferring a pupil to another school, obtaining performance report or children's school results, school attendance and many other related key services.
 It also grants timed and unlimited access to academic performance and co-curricular activities and other community service programs at school. It also presents some of IT Department's Website services being delivered via smart phones and SMS texting.
Oman Education Portal specified a special attention to the youngsters as it is fully aware of their passion for modern technology gadgets, thus it has provided appropriate programs and self-learning software.
It is to be noted that Directorate of IT represented by Oman Educational Portal is avid to maintain unremitted attendance in Muscat Festival events every year, because of its effective role in gathering all segments of the community.
