100 teachers use technology to produce teaching portfolios and computerized projects

Educational Technologies Department in Dakhiliya Directorate implemented a training program “Intel” adopted by E-learning Department which is related to Educational Technology Department at the Ministry of Education. The program helps teachers to use technology and communication tools in education in the classroom. 

The training program targeted more than one hundred teachers of the governorate schools. The program was implemented in five training centers at the directorate in learning resource centers and computer labs  in  Al Bashir bin Mundhir and  Al Shathaa bent Jaber  schools in Nizwa,  Sheikha  Nadheera Al Riyamiah  in Maneh and Belaarb bin Sultan and Aisha Al Riyamiah schools in Bahla.
Saif bin Abdullah Al-Hashemi, Head of Educational Technology said about the program:  “Intel aims to develop the educational process through the effective use and employment of technology in the educational process”
Hamad bin Mohammed Al Tobi, a  trainer said that  Intel program which was adopted by  e-learning team  aims to train a large number of teachers to use modern technology in education and the use of practical projects that aim  to deliver information to the students  in an easy and affordable way.  The program also aims to develop integrated educational bags for teacher to facilitate the process of planning and good preparation for   lessons.
