The activities of the communication program between families, schools, community concluded in presence of Said bin Salim Al Harthy, Director General of Directorate General of Governorate of Dhofar, school principals, heads of fathers and mothers councils, educators and students’parents. The program was between 20/10 to 2/11/2011 at Al Saada School. 

The Director-General pointed during the meeting to the importance of communication between the family and school. He also pointed to the importance of parent councils and their role to improve the links between parents and faculty and activating the role of these councils to serve the educational goals desired. 
Mohammed bin Abdullah Salem Al Mehri  principal of Abu Obaida basic education school (5-12)  and Alawiyah bent  Mohammed Sharif, headmistress of Al Saada school presented two papers about the importance of communication between school, family and society.
 This communication program between family, school and community is   sponsored by Ministry of Education and circulated to educational provinces. Its goal is to develop principals’ competencies   in dealing with family and society.
The number of schools applying the program (one hundred schools), 25 schools in each stage in addition to the two schools applied the program in the last two academic years, Mayzoon and Abu Obaida school.  The duration of the program is a full week.
