A Training Program for Vocational Guidance Specialists in North Batinah

Vocational guidance department at the Directorate General in North Batinah organized a training program targeted about 200 vocational guidance specialists in the governorate. 

The activities continued for four days in the period from 29/10/ to 1/11. The working papers covered a number of topics which focused on the awareness and impact in making the right decision, as well as the importance of communication to understand the awareness and professional maturity concepts.
 Training program activities started with a speech by Mohammad Ali Balochi, head of vocational guidance in the governorate. He welcomed the participants and explained the objectives of the training program. They also discussed some issues related to vocational guidance in schools. Then the head of the vocational guidance presented a paper entitled “awareness and professional maturity”.  Also Hussein Ali Ghuloom Al Ajmi presented a paper entitled “vocational decision-making and factors affecting it”.  And Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Kindi reviewed in his paper the subject of communication and its impact on persuasion and influence. And Ibrahim bin Ali presented a paper about communication skills and its constraints.
