Dhofar Directorate and civil defense apply evacuation plan at educational establishments
Recently Dhofar Directorate General in collaboration with the civil defense organized a working paper about the application of evacuation plan in educational establishments.
The audiences were headmasters and headmistress of schools in Dhofar governorate. The working paper started with a welcoming by Mr. Hamed bin Bakheet Al Mushaikhi, president of the local competition for a clean and healthy school environment and Awadh bin Saeed Al yafei, directorate security supervisor.
Lieutenant Ahmed bin Bakhit Kashoob Head of Training Operations Department of Civil Defense in Dhofar made a working paper. It included the most important goals to carry out an evacuation such as: accustom faculty, as well as students and the rest of the staff of an evacuation alarm and the steps they have to follow during the exit from the facility in an orderly and away from the confusion. Also, Directorate security supervisor explained some of the concepts of the application of evacuation plan. Then they saw a video of an evacuation.
