In partnership with UNESCO the Ministry of Education lead the country this year in marking World Teachers Day, an event that is celebrated annually on the 5th of October since it was set standing in 1994. This year’s theme for the event is "Take a stand for teachers" and planned events include activities to honor the Omani teacher.
