The Department of Rehabilitation and training organized workshops on how to prepare a plan for professional development in 2012 from 22-26/10/2011. The workshop aimed to involve representatives from all sectors of education in the development of training programs they need for next year. 

Dr. Nasser Al Ghannbossi Director of studies and technical support said that preparing plans for professional development for this year was professionalism.  It was shown through the efforts of the prior preparation and communication with various sectors of education in various school districts and  the Ministry. Most programs stem from educational needs.
Muna bent Al Aabd referred to the excellent organization of workshops, and to the opportunity offered by these opportunities to exchange experiences between school districts.
Mr. Hilal bin Abdullah Ghaferi head of training department noted that it is important to hold these workshops in various aspects of education to create a partnership among the field of education of all classes and those responsible for decision-making. He added that it is a true translation of the training needs, which represents the gap between performance realistic and the performance required

It should be noted that the Department of Rehabilitation and training have been applying this scientific methodology in preparing plans for professional development for the second year. The Department has introduced some developments this year in response to last year feedback.
