Oman Educational Portal has achieved a new award in the Middle East Internet Award which was organized by Terrapinn Institution in United Arab Emirates. This achievement is a new addition to the series of successive achievements since the Educational Portal was launched in 2007.

This achievement is an affirmation of the high quality of e-services provided by Oman Educational portal and the creativity in the design and organization. Also the website provides a variety of communication tools that allow users to communicate quickly with those who are concerned in the Ministry of Education. Also Oman Educational portal contains a large central database, uses good information and network security systems, have trained and qualified human resources who can deal with information and communication technology and many other services and standers that qualified Oman Educational Portal to win the award for the Best Arab Governmental Website. This award (Best Arab Government Website) is the second award achieved by Ministry of Education in 2012 and added to its achievements balance. it is worth mentioning here that the conference and award ceremony was held in Dubai in United Arab Emirates on the evening of Wednesday 18th of April 2012 in presence of a large number of governmental institutions and non-governmental institutions which participated in the conference.
