Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science organizes student forum on the occasion of World Water Day

Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science organized on Wednesday 4/4/2012 a student forum on the occasion of World Water Day in Al Qurm National Park in Muscat governorate. 50 students participated in the forum from schools affiliated to UONESCO.
Organization of this forum aims to introduce students of local and global issues of availability of fresh water and the difficulties that the Sultanate face to provide enough water for the sustainable development and to spread awareness among students about the importance of water as a major source of food security and so the need to preserve water resources.
