Final competitions of cognitive development program were concluded in North Batinah Directorate

Final competitions of cognitive development program in North Batinah witnessed evident interactive and presence of school qualified for the finals. There were 72 students from 12 schools from grades (5-7) and (8-10). The competitions were on science, math and geographical concepts.

Final competitions were held at Oman Hall in Sohar College of Applied Science in Sohar and in presence of Hamad ben Ali Al Sarhani Director General of North Batinah Directorate and a number of educators, students and teachers.

Omayah School got the first place in the category of grades (8-10) and Al Tereef Basic Education School and Hilah ben Atiyah School got the second and the thirds place consecutively. In science, Um Jaefer Al Tayar School got the first place for the category (5-7). Abdel Rahman ben Owf Basic Education School got the second place and Imam Ahmed ben Said Basic Education School got the third place. According to classes between (8-10), Batinah School achieved the first place and Zainab bent Abi Salmah was in second place and Hilal ben Atayah was on the third place.
